Valya's Radishes Postcard

While on the Island of Kauai, Hawaii, artist Chloe Dee Noble created Valya's Radishes for an art exhibition of her prints in Sofia, Bulgaria. It was great fun to create. She inked the actual radishes that came from the market on the north shore and printed them (gently rubbed the colour into rice paper) in the kitchen of her condo. This is beautifully coloured and is an actual rubbing of the radishes and their magnificent leaves. Perfect for the gardener in your family and the COOK....! Chloe recently had a corneal transplant (June 2012) but when she did the print she was blind. The finished print was embossed with Brille for the exhibition of her works.
