"Unseelie Court: Wrath" Postcard

The third of my "Seven Deadly Sins" collection of my "Unseelie Court" series - "Wrath!" My Unseelie Court series focuses on the darker aspects of the faerie world, combined with historic and art-history references. The first collection in the series featured the Apocalypse themes (Famine, War, Pestilence, Death) and this new collection features each of the Seven Deadly Sins. This piece is an allegory for the sin of "Wrath" - featuring of course an unseelie court fairy embodying various historical, literary, artistic & symbolic representing "Wrath." As with all my Unseelie Court pieces, this painting includes allusions to several historic paintings - Hieronymus Bosch, Bruegel, Caravaggio, John Martin, Delacroix & more. I debuted & sold this painting as part of my "Allusions and Allegories" show at the Corey Helford Gallery in LA.
