Union Baseball Park 1st Home Of The Postcard
Located downtown where the north end of Millennium Park is today was the first home of The White Stockings who are known today as the It burned down in the Great Fire was rebuilt and reopened in 1876 as Lake Front Park. Though they only played here until 1884 it was a lucky spot for them as they dominated the National League winning the pennant four times. More than any other location the team has played in since.
