I handle the benefits for my company and we just had a meeting with our insurance broker to find out how our employee benefits will be impacted by Obamacare. We came away from the meeting realizing the Bill is so poorly written, there are multiple oppertunities for people to actually stay uninsured at the expense of others (taxpayers). Our Broker informed us that many of their clients are lowering their benefits so that they can save money and meet the employee premium share requirements set by Obamacare, while other employers have decided to drop their employee health insurance all together (like we have) because of the huge administration burden & requirements that will now be placed on employers. I really dont think people realize how full of crap Obamacare really is. Idealogically, healthcare for all is wonderful, but Obamacare is not going to solve our healthcare problems - its made them worse, and I'm losing my rich benefit plan that I had through my employer and will be forced to buy my insurance and use a system that is as pleasant and efficient as the DMV. I was one of those people who figured Obamacare didnt impact me (except for paying higher taxes) because I had wonderful coverage through my emploer - what a wake up call! People are blind to what Obamacare is forcing employers into.
