This is a depiction of a "rumoured person in the world" as a kabuki actor.
Title : 豊国漫画図絵 日本左衛門（Toyokuni manga zue Nippon Zaemon / とよくに まんが ずえ にほん ざえもん)
＊One of the five men of the Shiranami bandit story, he was the leader of a band of robbers who ransacked the countries along the road during the Yedo period.
＊Note: I used data from the National Diet Library's Digital Collection and made colour corrections.
