Title : 奇術十二支之内 卯　伊賀寿太郎（Kijyutsu Jyūnishi no uchi U - Igajyu Tarō / きじゅつ じゅうにし の うち う いがじゅ たろう) Kabuki actor : 中村芝翫 (Nakamura Shikan / なかむら しかん) Author :豊原国周 (Toyohara Kunichika / とよはら くにちか) 奇術 is the art of sorcery. 十二支 (jyūnishi) means12 signs of the Chinese zodiac. 卯 (U) means “Rabbit”. Igajyu Tarō was a military commander of 藤原純友 (Fujiwara no Sumitomo) who rebelled against the Imperial Court at the same time as 平将門 (Taira no Masakado).
