ukiyoe Hiroshige No.17 Okitsu Postcard
東海道五十三次之内 興津 興津川(tōkaidō gojyū san tsugi no uchi, okitsu okitsu gawa / とうかいどう ごじゅうさんつぎ の うち おきつ おきつがわ/ 17th station : Okitsu ; The Okitsu River, from the series Fifty-three Stations of the Tōkaidō)
• The Fifty-three Stations of the Tōkaidō are the most famous landscape woodcut by the ukiyoe artist 歌川 広重( Utagawa Hiroshige ) [1797-1858].
• The Tōkaidō was an important roadway connecting 江戸 {Yedo (present-day Tokyo)} and 京都 (Kyoto).
Please enjoy the sights and sounds of the travelers who traveled along the road's post towns.
• This image is a reprint based on the 保永堂版 (Hoeidō edition). So the image is very beautiful with no stains or tears.
• Note: Using data(CC0) from the National Diet Library Digital Collection , color correction was performed.
• Any of my designs can be transferred to over a thousand other items and adjust the design to fit the product if you needed.
