Title : 丹後の宮津(Tango no Miyazu / Miyazu in Tango Province) Souvenirs of Travel, 2st Series Miyazu City in the Tango region is located in the northern part of Kyoto Prefecture. It faces Wakasa Bay on the Sea of Japan. Artist :川瀬巴水 (Kawase Hasui / かわせ はすい) He was a printmaker active from the Taisho to Showa periods. He travelled throughout Japan and painted lyrical depictions of the beautiful local scenery. Steve Jobs was also a favourite of Kawase Hasui's work. ＊Note: Created with colour correction based on public domain of ColBase.
