The Uffington White Horse is a highly stylized prehistoric hill figure, 374 feet (110 m) long, cut into the turf to reveal the underlying white chalk. The figure occurs on the upper slopes of White Horse Hill in the English parish of Uffington. It has been dated to 1400-600 BCE and may represent Beli Mawr,the Celtic God of the Sun. A different take on this famous geoglyph, rendered as though made from gold like a fine piece of jewellery.

I was originally happy about my purchase and Nana loved the gift. HOWEVER, the description specifically says that these are microwave and dishwasher safe, BUT the first time Nana put this mug in the dishwasher it was destroyed. Not impressed..
