The Twin Bridges span the Mississippi River, connecting Bettendorf, Iowa and Moline, Illinois. The single span first opened in 1935 and the second in 1959. The official name of the bridge is the Iowa-Illinois Memorial Bridge. Locals simple call it the Twin Bridges.
