Turkish Border Patterned Tile delightful on its own, yet used together, this tile makes a stunning border design when used en masse. From an antique slightly offset print, something that adds it's own character to this tile which is derived from an Ottoman design. Iznik type. The design isn't exactly symmetrical, the pattern is a bit offset... it is these qualities that usually mark handmade items. This isn't handmade but mimics and exaggerates those imperfections. From the pictures we needed to replace two tiles that had the old toothbrush and soap dish and the tile guy said two tiles would have to be removed. The tiles were PERFECT! just a slight color difference to the naked eye but they match pretty darn good. Tile guy had to shave the back because the 1957 tile was thinner but as you can see it worked out great! We are elated over the moon happy, Thank you!
