Trust Your Instincts Bridge Postcard

This painting is based on a photograph her husband Paul took when they were on vacation in Mostar - they both loved this bridge and cried when it was destroyed. She originally painted the bridge as the photograph (and her memory) captured, with a pinkish sky as the sun was setting. She followed the advice of her teacher, who said it would be better to make it more realistic, to darken the pink to grey. She preferred it the way she and Paul remembered it in person and as captured on his camera. Her advice is to seek advice and counsel of others, but to trust your instincts... When you really feel something is right, trust your instincts...invent your own ways if you need to, and trust that it will turn out good
