This iridescent butterfly is painted in shades of blue, aqua, turquoise and violet purple. The exotic gem coloured butterfly is from somewhere in the tropical rainforests of South America, but I'm not sure of the exact species. It sure is pretty and magical looking though with it's jewel toned wings.
