This is a digitally enhanced print of an antique 1916 oil on canvas painting by Pre-Raphaelite artist John William Waterhouse. It depicts the tale of Tristan and Isolde made popular during the 12th century through Anglo-Norman literature, inspired by Celtic legend, particularly the stories of Deirdre and Naoise and Diarmuid Ua Duibhne and Gráinne. The tragic story is of the adulterous love between the Cornish knight Tristan (Tristram) and the Irish princess Isolde (Iseult, Yseult, etc.).

The shipping was the problem. Box was flimsy and item got bent.. only suggestion would have been to put in a canister or mark fragile. Printing was exactly as shown
