Triplett heritage crest T-Shirt Triplett family crest T shirt - The Triplett family fought bravely for the creation of America in the Revolutionary war. They were the mason builders of Washington's Mount t Vernon. The family crest features the pelican and three triplet nestlings. The parent Pelican finding no food feeds the 3 nestlings with it's own blood from a self inflected chest wound. This symbolizes great sacrifice for the good of others. The motto animus et facto means "by act and intention." The stag full antlered and running; looks over it's shoulder symbolizing awareness in action. This crest was engraved on family silver owned by William Stone Triplett born 1815 and on a ring worn by John Richards Triplett. Design proceeds go to Whipporwill Village for the preservation of historical log cabins and the arts in North Carolina. The Ferguson family often married into the Triplett family from the Revolutionary war times forward.
