The tree of shame was started in the 80's by a group of Harley riders. This shrine shows how many The Dragon has bitten. Unfortunately each year, more parts get added to the tree. Some people walk away, and others not. If you do go, have fun, BUT beware of The Dragon- You can see the tree of shame at Deals Gap, North Carolina. This awesome road has 318 curves and is 11 miles long. It is on the North Carolina and Tennessee boarder.
