Transit of Venus - 2012 T-Shirt

The Transit of Venus on June 5-6, 2012 is a rare astronomical alignment in which the planet Venus visibly passes between the Earth and the Sun. This is the last time Venus makes this transition for another 105 years, so most of us will not see it again. The design shows a real photo of the Transit of Venus with its path. It also lists past and future Venus transition years. The Mayan Venus glyph "Lamat" is directly below the historical June 5-6, 2012 date. The Venus Cycle was very important to the Mayans. It's a great feature considering that the Mayan Calendar resets on December 21, 2012. Interestingly, the Mayan Venus glyph is graphically similar to the Five Cycles of the Aztec Sun Stone Calendar.
