These two cargo vessels, or "trampers" are about 300 feet in length. They stand by at the docks in Dutch Harbour, Alaska, waiting for fish and fish product from the fishing vessels which work on the Bering Sea. Seagulls often gather on the docks, waiting for an opportunity to steal food from the fishing boats' decks and nets. They feed in the shallows along the beach when the fishing boats are out working.
