Original Title Suburban Station
Location: Bay and Lewis Streets, Petoskey, MI
In it's day the Suburban Station in Petoskey, Michigan, was really a moving hub. For a good long while it hauled freight, mostly in the form of logs. But as logs started to run out, they looked to travelers to make money. This worked quite well as they eventually created a hotel on Mackinac Island.
But all good things eventually come to an end, and this location still has a train station but its being ran as a museum. One track remains, trains still travel on it, but its not as quaint as this looks here.
