Traditional Romantic Horse and Van Mug

The artwork on this item is my own original work, inspired by a visit to Appleby Fair and my interests as an archeologist and historian specializing in the history of the horse and its relationship with humans. The flowers were inspired by the wild flowers around my home in Scotland - they really do look like that, with great drifts of forget-me-knot in amongst buttercup, yarrow, moon daisies and many more. I hope the image on this mug inspires you to think of driving away in a traditional van into the hills. Perhaps you can imagine resting by a mountain stream and watching the passing clouds making shadows on the grass, in a world that moves slowly and contemplatively in time with nature and the seasons. All money that I make on my products will be spent to fund future research into the history and archeology of the horse. - Miriam Bibby
