This item was designed to pay tribute to our powerful First Nations cultures. The indigenous bands of the Pacific Northwest has given us all a proud legacy of intricate art in the form of hand-carved Totem Poles. Many of them depict the sacredness of animals like Eagles, Hawks, Owls, Bears, Orca and Wolf etc. Internationally, very few cultures express their heritage with this type of Totemic artform. We are privileged in this part of the World to be able to visit authentic poles, created by First Nations bands like the Haida master craftsmen for example. Many of the most impressive World class Totem Poles are located in British Columbia and Alaska.
