Toccoa Train Station Greeting Card

The Toccoa Train Depot was built around 1915 and its exterior was recently renovated. Currently it is home to the Toccoa Chamber of Commerce, the Stephens County Historical Society, and the Currahee Military Museum, as well as serving as a functioning AMTRAK station. The Military Museum features paraphernalia from WWII, including a stable which housed the 506th division paratroopers in England during their final training, as portrayed in the HBO series, Band of Brothers. The stable was carefully taken apart and flown to the United States, where it was reassembled inside the museum. The Train Depot and museum can be found on North Alexander St. in Toccoa, GA.
