The early Twentieth Century German/Austrian Expressionists were intense in their vision, sharply focused, and very, very Modern. This painting is NOT Art Deco- that happened later, in the 1920's. This is fabulous German Expressionism! Impossibly clear, pristine, beautiful. *W*U*N*D*E*R*B*A*R* !!
