"Tide Pool Mist" Mendocino, CA. Poster

I photographed this in the same spot as "Sunset at the Tide Pools" at the Jughandle State Reserve in Mendocino, CA. However, I shot this at dusk as the light became very low over 25 seconds. The long time lapse allowed for the waves to virtually disappear via motion blur giving the scene an otherworldly sense. It's a typical technique used in seascapes allowing the coastal rocks to appear and look like mountain tops while the water becomes a hovering mist. To some it looks like a scene at the top of some high mountain tops.
