In the midst of a long, difficult Covid winter I was finding my inner fire. As a mother who has long put my passions on the back-burner, I found this concept to be especially symbolic of returning to myself, stronger and brighter. The colours were inspired by time spent meditating into the woodstove (an essential part of Winter sanity for me). This image was begun in mono print acrylics and then scanned and digitally composed.

Love the fabric and the vibrant colours. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is because the pillows were slightly smaller than 41 x 41 cm. I was disappointed with that. The printing turned out excellent!
