The destruction of progress. Peeking through the wall of a construction project just begun, we see the remnants of a little alley which until recently contained half a dozen charming cafes serving lunch every day. Today one cafe remains, across from an artistically created graffiti wall. Soon there will be a huge new building, modern and maybe even beautiful, but we will miss our pleasant little cafes and the friendly if harassed wait staff.
