Three Stallion Horses (by Rosa Bonheur) Mug

This design features a painting by Rosa Bonheur (1822–1899), who was a French artist best known as a painter of animals. It shows three horses in a French countryside landscape. There is a male rider sitting on the ground next to the horses. Each of the three horses has a different colour coat: the horse on the left has a brown coat, the horse in the centre has a white coat and the horse on the right has a grey coat. They are all beautiful and elegant thoroughbred stallions. They are equipped with bridles and saddles. The horses are going to be ridden along a bridle path in rural France. The original art was painted in 1887.
