Three Male House Sparrows in January Just Chillin Postcard

It's mid January with sub zero temperatures and a good time for chillin with the guys. Cool card to send to friends & family, planning a get-together, or keep as cost effective wall art. These three male house sparrows are fluffed up against the cold; but already leaf buds are appearing on the tree as the days gradually get longer. Young male house sparrows flock together in bachelor groups over winter. House sparrows are not true sparrows - they are a species of weaver finch. These house sparrows are frequent visitors to our balcony and know when food is coming ... I go out to sprinkle seeds and the tree comes alive with a chorus of happy chirps & trills.
