Trois Carottes Fou (Three Crazy Carrots) This watercolor was done while I was living in the south of France, (Rognes, Provence)on Philippe's farm. I was helping to harvest the carrots. Farmers want the perfect shaped carrots, but I loved the strange and funny oddly shaped ones. It became a game to collect the strangest funny ones as models for my still life paintings!
