This box is the food jail magnet

For years, decades, centuries I have been putting food from the food store away into my refrigerating device, and the food has said to me, "Kate! Kate! Are we at last going to a great paradise, as you have promised?" And I have had to sit them down and carefully explain to them, broccoli by broccoli, tofu paste by tofu paste, mystery sale meat by mystery sale meat, that no, they have been a bad food, they have been tried in a food court of food law, and they have been remanded to a prison of food in which they are cursed to spend the rest of their natural lives with no possibility of parole. With the exception of one cream cheese incident, they have understood their fate, as most food has an innate sense of justice versus injustice and the righteousness of the American court system. But this still takes minutes and hours out of my every day, hours when I could be outside, laughing at ducks. At last, with the help of this magnetic square, my foodstuffs can understand their fates without my long lecture courses. I can throw my blazers with leather elbow patches right out the window! And, most importantly, I can get back to my true passion: making sure that ducks understand that they are ridiculous and deserve to be bullied. Thank you. Thank you for this gift of time. It was legible enough for food to understand it, but not too legible so that ducks may understand it, which is important, because ducks are idiots and deserve to understand nothing.

These fun items live on the fridge for many years, and long outlast the poor Christmas card which ends up in the recycling with the wrapping paper on Boxing Day.
