The origins of The Yorkshire Motto are unclear (we can’t take the credit for writing it) but it expresses much of what it means to be from Yorkshire. This mug would make an ideal talking point for your home or office …. or gift for Yorkshiremen and Yorkshirewomen anywhere. Or perhaps even to send to jealous southerners or other foreigners elsewhere. As well as the world famous white rose of Yorkshire the mug is illustrated with the official flags, as issued by the UK Flag Registry, of the West Riding, North Riding and East Riding of Yorkshire.

I was originally happy about my purchase and Nana loved the gift. HOWEVER, the description specifically says that these are microwave and dishwasher safe, BUT the first time Nana put this mug in the dishwasher it was destroyed. Not impressed..
