The Waterfall (1910) by Henri Rousseau is a vintage post impressionism fine art nature painting. The water gently flows into a stream that meanders through the plants on the valley floor. A waterfall in a jungle with trees, native people and wild animals. About the artist: Henri Julien Felix Rousseau (1844-1910) was a French Post Impressionist painter in the Naive genre, primitive manner or Primitivism. He was also known as Le Douanier, the customs officer.
