The Washington Headquarters Sticker

During the War of Independence, the headquarters of General Washington was said to have been identifiable by a flag that flew above it, consisting of 13 six-pointed white stars on a blue field. Legend also has it that Washington designed the flag himself, but the legitimacy of the flag and of this claim have often been questioned by historians. Regardless, the flag is associated with Washington, and is distinctive because of its six-pointed stars which are not uniform or completely symetrical.
