This image is the oil on canvas painting “The Umbrellas (Les Parapluies)” done between 1881 and 1886 by French impressionist artist Pierre-Auguste Renoir (1841-1919). The main female figure on the left was Renoir’s lover and frequent model Suzane Valadon. She was herself a painter and so was her son Maurice Utrillo. It is our Fine Art Series no. 207.
