About This Design
The Twelve Apostles (RLS 20a) 11"x8.5" Notepad
Reading from left to right, the Twelve Apostles portrayed are: SS. Andrew, John, Peter, James the Greater, Bartholomew, Thomas, Matthew, Philip and James the Less, Simon and Jude Thaddeus, and Matthias. + You have several options here: 1) Choose a colour for the paper. Pastels work best. See below for recommended colours. 2) Decide whether or not you want your chosen paper colour to show behind the Apostles and the scalloped borders. 3) If you would like a different colour behind the Apostles, change the colour of the shape with the ‘Shape: Paint Bucket’ in the design tool. Similarly, if you would like a different colour behind the scalloped borders, change it too. Use the ‘Shape: Pencil’ tool. Skim the other items in this collection for examples of each ‘style’! Or, see my Media section. + The basic ‘Red Letter Saints’ palette is the same for all nineteen images from the book with minor variations. It consists of the following colours (with hex codes): cream (#FEEFBE), medium yellow (#F1D168), medium yellow-green (#999954), medium light aqua (#ACCBB1), medium dark aqua (#8CAC98), mauve (#E6BEA5), salmon pink (#FAAE8B), peach (#F5BD94), brownish orange (#E48B11), beige (#E8C6A1), dark gold (#87722E), and dark red-brown (#460000). The coordinating pastel versions (with their hex codes) are: light yellow (#F8EAB9), light green (#E4E4CE), light aqua blue (#D3DFD7), light mauve (#EFD4C3), pink (#FCCCB6), and peach (#FADEB8). + Image Credit (RLS 20a): Figures--as well as the ornamental borders--have been extracted from the individual images of the Apostles published in chromolithography with gilt accents in the antique book Red Letter Saints: Being a Series of Biographies of those Saints for which Proper Collects, Epistles and Gospels are appointed in the Book of Common Prayer. Printed by E. Kaufmann, Lahr, Baden, Germany, for the Society for Promoting Christian Knowledge / S.P.C.K. (London, 1911), pp. 6–69 passim. From the designer’s private library.

This is a perfect planner for busy families... easy to use and well organized. Each page rips off after use and the new page is ready for the next week. Clear print and personal monogram is fun.

Easy to use, great for seeing your entire week in front of you. The week dates are a drop too small but otherwise extremely practical and productive! Great quality printing!
