When it rains quite a bit, there is a box turtle that rambles across my tiny backyard. I've always wondered what its itinerary or destination was. Someone once gave me a drawing challenge and the theme was "travel." While others drew cars, trains, and rocket ships, I thought about this turtle...and decided he needed a good early-twentieth century mouse utilizing him as transport. Enjoy the journey, and enjoy a cup of coffee along the way.
