The Stanley Hotel Postcard

The Stanley Hotel in Estes Park, Colorado is the backdrop for this beautiful Elk who comfortably guarded the front of this magnificent hotel that was the setting and the inspiration for Steven King's book, The Shining. Also was a movie starring Jack Nicholson; a great psychological thriller!
