About This Design
The oldest photo of Jerusalem Postcard
This is the first photo of Jerusalem that was ever taken. It was shot in 1842 (approximately 180 years ago) by a French photographer, called Joseph-Philibert Girault de Prangey, who was the first photographer to visit the holy land and bring its images to the people of Europe. The quality is very poor, but the photo has a great historic significance
