The Mayan calendar contains all it's cycles with the last cycle ending in December 2012. Some interpret it in a way that sounds like the world would end on the 21st December 2012. But what if they were off by a few years?! The last day of the Mayan was set for the Winter Solstice day in December which is an important day for many cultures all over the world. This calendar can be traced back to pre-Columbian Central America to around 2000 BC and was developed even further by the Mayans into the 16th century. The Mayan calendar is still in use by some of the Maya today!

We bought this for our son's teacher who spends a great deal of time teaching about the Aztecs. He loved it! The design is a nice and the colors are nice. My only beef with the tie is that it's low resolution. This can be plainly seen looking closely at the product image. When you look at the lines, you can see they are jagged and not smooth. Still really like the tie...just not 5 stars. The printing on the tie is really good and the color looks good.

I was beyond thrilled with how this custom tie turned out. I applied my husband’s business name to it all over the place and it was beautifully produced, absolutely perfect. Silky, shiny, exactly as I designed it. The lettering was not raised which was my fear. It formed a part of the tie itself so it looked like it was supposed to be there! My husband loved it and I made 9 more in different designs. Produced very quickly, well packaged and arrived early! I loved this design so much!! The printing is not raised and the tie is silky smooth. It turned out exactly as I designed it!
