The Matterhorn Le Cervin Vintage Travel Poster

A high quality Art Deco reproduction print features the peaceful landscape of Le Cervin ca 1900 by Louis Trinquier-Trianon (French, 1853–1922). The Matterhorn/Le Cervin is the most famous mountain in Switzerland, including the pyramidal shape that it offers from the village of Zermatt, in the German-speaking part of the canton of Valais. The ascent of the north face was considered the last great mountaineering feats in the Alps, with the Eiger and the Grandes Jorasses, which together form the three great north faces of the Alps.
