The Gulf Stream 1899 W Homer Jigsaw Puzzle

The Gulf Stream is an 1899 oil painting by American artist Winslow Homer. It shows a Black man in a small, rudderless fishing boat struggling against the waves of the sea. The tumultuous sea surrounding him is infested with sharks, which appear in the foreground of the painting with open jaws. Homer painted The Gulf Stream when he was 63 years old, in the year following the death of his father. The painting has been interpreted as an expression of the artist's presumed sense of mortality and vulnerability.

This is a really nice puzzle however it is what I would call fragile while putting together. The pieces fit but are very loose, you need to be constantly pushing them together and when you remove a wrong piece a lot of other pieces come with it. However, the pieces themselves are a good thickness and sturdy. It also has more than one cut to the pieces which make it challenging. I really enjoyed this puzzle and it is definitely a hard one for me. The picture on the puzzle is very good quality. It shows the book cover very well and the detail is great. The size I chose I found was perfect in detail for me. It shows very well.
