Written by Elek Benedek, often called the great preserver of Hungarian folk tales, the collection brings together stories shaped by oral tradition, rural life, and a deep sense of moral imagination. Though intended for children, the tales resonate across generations through their gentle wisdom, playful magic, and enduring belief in cleverness and compassion.
The illustration is the work of Álmos Jaschik (1885–1950), whose decorative style and sensitivity to atmosphere made him a natural interpreter of fairy tales. Influenced by Art Nouveau, Jaschik infused his illustrations with lyrical movement and symbolic detail. As an artist and influential teacher in Budapest, he helped shape Hungarian visual culture while creating imagery that continues to enchant modern audiences.

We ordered at the beginning of December and paid for expedited shipping to receive our product before Christmas.. as of January 11th, we still haven’t received it due to the need for an address change. When I try to contact zazzle, they tell me to reach out to the shipping company, and when I do that, they tell me to reach out to the sender. I’ve been unable to get in contact with anyone to try to change the delivery address. We are beyond frustrated T this point as we received the other product from the same order without any problems! .

I ordered a custom water bottle and the design came out better than I thought. I like how the water bottle has a gloss finish and feels slick. The letters and numbers on it have an outline you can feel and that’s my favorite part. It doesn’t smell like metal on the inside! That’s what I was scared of. Beautiful work.
