The Golden Gate in Jerusalem Postcard

The Golden Gate is the only gate in the wall of Jerusalem that leads directly to Temple Mount and, according to Christian belief, this is the gate through which Jesus entered Jerusalem. According to Jewish belief, the "Shekhinah" (Divine Presence) used to appear through the eastern Gate and the Messiah will enter Jerusalem at the end of days.
