The Centre

Funny thing. I spent days…. Weeks sorting through my collection of 90,106 photos for material to work on following my April spine procedures. They told me I’d be laid up “awhile” and physical activity would be restricted. I selected a variety of floral photos ALL of which consisted of the entire flower. My routine as I work on these projects is to examine them as closely as possible, concentrating on each minute detail of the flower, the textures and strokes I apply. Only this time, the centre of this subject became my focal point. I just enjoyed the colours, the intricate details. Having countless floral pieces completed, I should be more familiar with the “working parts” of flowers and have the ability to identify them. Unfortunately, all I could come up with is, “The Centre”. Thanks for listening…
