The Bra Bush Underwear

This was one of those things that made me turn the car around and go back and take a picture even though the threatening sky said a flash flood was on the way. I should have been driving as fast as possible to get out of the bottom of the desert area that had been covered in water in prehistoric times and is still prone to flooding. However, the photo op called to me. I purposely did not centre the bush in the photo because I wanted the desolate location to be obvious. For those who like information on desert vegetation, I believe this is a creosote bush. Also, there is some (very minor) debate as to whether the Mojave Desert is, in fact, its own, separate desert. However, at least 200 distinct plant types grow in this region. Someone out there may see this photo and recognize her discarded item.
