The Bowl: 20th Century Obsolete Postcard

Reflection: The 42 lane Futurama Bowl in San Jose had a space age anomaly outside: a huge concrete dome one had to pass under to gain entrance. A cement walk would lead people under the dome – surrounded by rocks and alien-looking plants – footsteps echoing from the dome itself. Just like walking on another planet. Just to go bowling. High contrast photographic composition created in the final days of 1999. Built from candid shots taken in and around the San Francisco Bay Area.
