The Barque Pamir Poster
This magnificent German-built ship was launched in 1905. She had a long career and was the last commercial sailing ship to round Cape Horn in 1949. Tragically she was lost in 1957 in her first and only voyage as a sail training ship. There were but six survivors. This public domain image from Wiki-Commons was restored and then stylized with three different successive treatments.
