The Art of Paul de Longpré Calendar

Paul-Gaston-Raoul-Henry-Georges Marcherat de Longpre, 1855-1911, was born in France to a family of artists and participated in the family tradition of flower painting from his earliest childhood. He came to the United States in 1890 and lived in New York for several years and established himself as a painter of flowers subjects. In 1899 he moved his family to Los Angles, California where he lived until his death in 1911. He choose to devote his life and career to painting flowers, most often in highly detailed, elegant watercolors.

Stellar quality and adorable art. Newfs doing what Newf do best, keep you amused! Great size and all the Canadian holidays included. Love the outlines on the pages with appropriate weather graphics, and with profits from this printed work going to Quebec Newfoundland Rescue, a registered charity helping Newfoundland dogs in need, even better. Very heavy stock and the quality is top notch. I like the spiral binding which keeps it flatter on the wall.
