The Angry Dead Postcard

This is based on something I saw once. It was the fall, and I was passing a dank old woodland. The trees were black and wet, very dismal. Suddenly it seemed as if a gigantic skeleton was emerging from a low spot in the woods. He was black like the trees, but dripping with a brackish, tarry substance. He seemed evil and intent on the houses across the road. He looked at me, then crossed the road and disappeared in some trees on the other side. I didn’t stick around to find out if it was a vision or the beginning of an invasion of the angry dead. Think about it. What could we really do if all the dead rose at once? Hence the picture of the giant and his followers reaching that home.
