This is a shot of a Texas skyscape, taken during twilight on an early autumn evening in 2013. The shot was taken adjacent to some farmland between Brookshire and Simonton, around 50 miles from downtown Houston. There is certainly a country and remote feeling about this part of the state, despite it being so close to one of the largest population centres in the country.
